Spring Breakfast Smoothie

THE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Almond milk – unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1/2 c plain yogurt
  • 2 sliced strawberries
  • 1 ounce of pomegranate seeds
  • 2 tbsp Protein powder

DIRECTIONS

Yield: 4 servings

  • Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend on high until smooth

Fresh fruit season is here. Celebrate!

Nothing better than celebrating the arrival of fresh fruit. Especially when you can do it in a high protein Keto conscious way. This smoothie has lots of protein and a good portion of fiber as well. Loads of flavour it’s a refreshing way to start the day or as a treat anytime of the day.

I harvest the fruit from my garden as it’s ready and freeze what I don’t immediately consume so I can extend the season as long as I want. Never want to run out of nature’s goodness.
